The Campaign for SW to NW CrossCountry Trains

The line map below shows how the CrossCountry network is being changed by the Department of Transport. The coloured table of northbound services shows exactly how these changes are being made to individual trains. As far as Birmingham there are few differences, but from Birmingham the south-west to Glasgow services no longer run and the trains now go to Manchester instead. In 2009 it is planned to send these trains to Edinburgh via Newcastle. The Bristol to Newcastle trains will then be sent to Manchester.
